THE OGAE HOME COMPOSED SONG CONTEST
The Home Composed Song Contest was founded in 1991 with the intention
of bringing together OGAE members who also write their own songs.
Since the early days it has gradually grown in popularity to the
stage where there were 18 entries in 1997, in a wide variety of
musical styles from dance to heavy metal, but the contest has never
lost its personal and friendly touch and is less of a competition,
more of a chance for composers who are ESC fans to find an audience
for their music around the continent. The 1998 organisers are
Denmark's Tony Soegaard Olsen and Morten Boldt Hansen, Morten being
the founder of the contest back in 1991, and it promises to be bigger
and better than ever.

The votes are in and counted and the winner announced. If you were one of the
26 juries who voted you will already have received your Results & Comments Programme.
